Synomag®-D-Partikel mit Durchmessern von 50 nm und 70 nm und synomag®-S -Partikel mit einem Durchmesser von 100 nm werden mit Carbonsäuregruppen auf der Oberfläche für die kovalente Bindung von Proteinen, Antikörpern oder anderen Molekülen, z. B. mittels Carbodiimidchemie (siehe Technote 200) angeboten.

Synomag®-Partikel ohne Polymercoating sind erhältlich mit Carbonsäuregruppen auf der Oberfläche mit hydrodynamischen Durchmessern von 30 nm und 50 nm.

Die Partikel können nicht am Permanentmagneten, sondern nur im Hochgradientenmagnetfeld separiert werden. Die funktionalisierten synomag®-Partikel werden in Wasser ohne Zusatz von Detergenzien geliefert.
