Dextran basierte magnetische Nanopartikel (perimag®)

  • zeigen exzellente Eigenschaften als Kontrastmittel für die Kernspintomographie und das Magnetic Particle Imaging (Eberbeck et al. 2013, Konkle et al. 2015 and Zheng et al. 2016),
  • sind geeignet für das Homing und Tracking von Stammzellen in der regenerativen Medizin sowie für Hyperthermie-Anwendungen (Kilian et al. 2016),
  • werden durch die Fällung von Eisenoxid in Gegenwart von Dextran hergestellt,
  • sind mit einem Durchmesser von 130 nm erhältlich,
  • können nicht mit konventionellen Permanentmagneten, sondern nur in einem Hochgradientenmagnetfeld separiert werden,
  • werden mit den Oberflächengruppen OH (plain), NH2 und COOH für die kovalente Bindung von Proteinen, Antikörpern und anderen Molekülen angeboten (Drews et al. 2013),
  • können auf Anfrage mit höheren Eisenkonzentrationen hergestellt werden.
