avidin

nanomag®-D-spio particles with diameters of 20 nm, 50 nm and 100 nm are provided with covalently bound avidin on the surface. Avidin binds biotinylated molecules easily and with a high affinity. The nanomag®-D-spio-particles cannot be separated with conventional permanent magnets, but in a high gradient magnetic field. The protein coated particles are supplied in PBS buffer (pH=7.4) with 0.02 % sodium azide.
