albumin (BSA)

sicastar® particles are provided with covalently bound albumin (BSA) in the size range from 300 nm to 20 µm. The albumin (BSA) coating makes the surface of the silica particles more biocompatible if needed. A coating with HSA is available on request.
The protein coated particles are supplied in PBS buffer (pH=7.4) with 0.02 % sodium azide.
