synomag®
„Nanoflower“-shaped magnetic nanoparticles (synomag®)
- are multi-core particles that consist of maghemite crystals,
- exhibit excellent properties as tracer for Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) and are suitable for hyperthermia applications,
- are available with hydrodynamic particle diameters of 30 nm and 50 nm,
- cannot be separated with a conventional permanent magnet but in a high gradient magnetic field,
- are designed with COOH groups on the surface for an improved cell-uptake.
