streptavidin

Perimag® particles with a diameter 130 nm are provided with covalently bound streptavidin on the surface. Streptavidin binds biotinylated molecules easily and with a high affinity. The perimag® particles cannot be separated with conventional permanent magnets, but in a high gradient magnetic field. The protein coated particles are supplied in PBS buffer (pH=7.4) with 0.02 % sodium azide.
