NH2

micromer®-M particles are designed with amino groups on the surface for the covalent binding of proteins, antibodies or other target molecules. The particles are stable in aqueous media and to some extend in DMSO. Thus the whole variety of conjugation methods can be applied, e.g. maleimide or SPDP functionalization of the amino groups for conjugation of SH-labeled biomolecules (see Technote 201 and Technote 202).
